Olds Rapids Swim Club

My Name is Wesley Wilks. I am from a farm near Carstairs and have completed a Business Management Diploma with a Sports Management Major at Olds College. 

I started competitive swimming at 10 years old, with the Olds Rapids Swim Club. Some of my greatest highlights were swimming at the Canada Summer Games in 2017, as well as the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games in 2019.   

I have been coaching for about 5 years. My goal for coaching is to give the athletes as many opportunities as possible for them to succeed. 

My goal for our club is to make it an inclusive and competitive team that helps athletes to reach their goals.  

On a personal note, I still swim competitively and qualified for the Alberta Summer Games.
