Year End Party/Awards/AGM
Olds Rapids will be hosting its annual Year end Party/AGM on June 21st starting at 5:30pm. There will be a fun swim for the kids, and the AGM will be held while they are swimming. This will be followed by a pot luck supper and Awards! Watch the calendar for the potluck sign up. Thank you all for an amazing year and we will see you at the pool!

Clint's recent coaching history includes joining Olds Rapids near the end of our last season in an Assistant Role. Previously, he has been actively coaching within the Central AB region with clubs that include Red Deer Marlins (Camp Head Coach for 2 years), Red Deer Masters, Red Deer Catalina, and Lacombe Masters. During his time with the Red Deer Clubs he coached Special Olympic Swimmers who have become World Champions. Other athletes have become National Champions and World Ironman Finishers.
Clint is also the Director and head coach of the Gators Academy of Swimming. A consulting service that provides stroke clinics, swim camps, and coach mentoring programs to clubs across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Since its inception, Clint has coached over 25 technical clinics for 35 different clubs and reaching well over 400 swimmers.
With nearly 40 years in the sport, Clint has demonstrated a commitment to learning advanced training techniques and continues to be a student of the sport staying abreast of training techniques and trends. His coaching focus is skill and technical development, empowering his athletes to think and understand the “why” all within a positive and fun environment. In this environment, swimmers learn to swim with a purpose, apply their learning's to swim correctly and build a lifelong passion for the sport.
