Swim AB Documentation, Swim meets & Wear Orange t-shirt on Monday !

    Dear Parents

    THANK YOU !! In Exclamation marks with bells & whistles on it. Shouted over & over.

    We can not say thank you enough for the quick feedback, texts, emails & Facebook comments in regards to the request for proof of online registration, Swim AB registration fee & the Swim AB Documents.

    Sadly we are experiencing website/technical issues with our online registration process & had to go the manual/paper route instead to ensure not only your safety, but the safety of our swimmers, board & coaches in regards to our Insurance policy & Affiliation to Swim AB. Please know that you as a parent & club member have free access to these policies, affiliation standards, coaching certification standards, swim meet regulations & bylaws. Please just ask a board member to show you where our folder is located or you can go to www.swimalberta.ca or www.swimalberta.ca for further information.

    Moving forward into October, please keep an eye open on our Calendar tab for Bingo sign up shifts & our swim meets. It is your responsibility as parent to register for the Bingo shifts & swim meets. Swim meet fees are separate from club fees & need to be paid 2 weeks prior to the actual meet in order to confirm your swimmer's attendance. More information on the how & where on swim meets will follow in the next week. Attached is the meet package for Canmore Pentathlon & Okotoks Jack Frost meets.

    Please join our club on Monday & wear an Orange t-shirt to show our pledge to;

    The Olds Town Council has proclaimed Monday, Sept. 30 as Orange Shirt Day - an annual event inspired by a girl who couldn't wear hers. Learn about the origins of Orange Shirt Day at https://www.olds.ca/node/1587. Wear your orange shirt on Monday night to The Grizzlies, a movie about a group of Inuit students whose lives are transformed when they are introduced to the sport of lacrosse. Please find more information in the attachments.

    Have a wonderful (white?) weekend. Be safe & have fun.

    Coach C
